Dr. Dagmar E. Nuñez is a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of Florida, specializing in neuropsychology, attention deficits, and executive functioning difficulties such as those seen in ADHD or related to anxiety and depressive disorders. She also focuses on memory concerns in older adults, including Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of cognitive impairment and dementia.
She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Neuropsychological Services in Plantation, Florida. Her professional experience includes Collier Neurologic Specialists in Naples, Florida, and Family Therapy Group in Weston, Florida. She is an active member of the American Psychological Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the Hispanic Neuropsychological Society.
She maintains a private practice serving the tri-county area of Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach, and lives in South Florida with her family.
Her work is built around one idea: a comprehensive evaluation should help a person understand themselves, improve their quality of life, and reach their personal and professional goals.

A neuropsychological evaluation is a standardized, timed procedure with materials in hand. It is conducted in person in Plantation, Miramar and Boca Raton — serving Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach.
Therapy can be by video
Dr. Nuñez is licensed in Florida and authorized by the PSYPACT Commission to provide telepsychology to clients located in PsyPACT participating states. In English or in Spanish.
